Ronno in Bambi (1942)[]
In the first movie, an adult Ronno only makes one appearance. After Faline licks Bambi's cheek, he dreams about them leaping in the clouds together. After Faline leaps into the bushes, Bambi goes after her, and Ronno appears. Bambi is shocked to see Ronno again, along with seeing his dark and monstrous facial expression. Ronno doesn't say a word, but he again tries to take Faline with him to make her his mate, like he tried to do when they were kids. Faline yells "Bambi!" several times. Bambi angrily fights Ronno, like he did when they were kids, and he eventually knocks Ronno over the cliff and into the river. Ronno's fate is unknown, but it's possible he died from his injuries, was shot to death by hunters, or he was burned to death in the forest fire.

Ronno in the midquel, Bambi II (2006)[]
Ronno has a regular part in the midquel as a child. He appears while the animals are watching the groundhog predict the weather. Ronno yells: "BOO!" to scare the groundhog away. He introduces himself, and he even develops a crush on Faline. He calls his antlers "Stab" and "Jab" and then tells everyone how he fought off hunters, and how to rick deer by calling: "I'mmmm Heeere!" Faline finds his story unbelievable, and Bambi gives Ronno the idea that he's accusing him of lying. Ronno challenges Bambi to a fight, but his mother calls him and he yells: "I'm coming!" As he leaves, he yells: "Don't bother me when I'm trying to make new friends!" and his mother answers: "Sorry, Honey."
Later, after Ronno learns about Bambi's experience with Man's hunting dogs, he says: "I'm surprised you're alive." Everyone asks: "What do you mean?" Ronno answers: "I mean the way you froze out there in the field, and in front of your own father!"
Ronno picks a fight with Bambi
Ronno then tries to take Faline with him, but she doesn't like him, because he's a bully. Bambi yells at Ronno: "Leave her alone!" Ronno turns around and tries to pick another fight with Bambi. Thumper gets angry, and pushes Bambi into Ronno, causing him to fall in the mud. Ronno angrily gets up and chases them, and Bambi jumps over a large chasm. Thumper taunts Ronno, and he gets scared and hides away. Then they see Bambi's father, and at first, he's angry at Bambi for not staying near the den, but then he sees the large chasm, and asks: "How did you? Did you jump?" Bambi answered: "Yes, Sir." His father commented that he didn't make a jump like that until he had antlers. As they're walking away, Ronno is listening in, and he says: "What's the big deal? Anyone can make that jump!" He tries to jump, but he slips and falls into the mud.
When Bambi and his father see Ronno and the other deer running, they join them. When Ronno sees Bambi's father running, he yells: "WHOA!" Then, when he sees Bambi running, he tries to outrun him, but Bambi's father encourages him to catch up with him, and he outruns Ronno, and he and his father run side by side while laughing together.
Bambi outruns Ronno
After learning that Bambi was going to live with Mena, the childhood friend of Bambi's mother, Ronno finds him and taunts him, saying that his father is giving him away, because he's ashamed of him. Bambi angrily headbutts Ronno into a tree. Ronno replies: "Oh yeah?" and they start fighting. Mena finds Bambi and says: "There you are, Bambi!" Ronno then pushes Bambi into Mena, causing her foot to get caught in one of Man's snare traps. A rope is now tied to her ankle, and when she pulls to get away, two tin cans clank together, causing a loud rattle. Then they hear the faint sound of Man's hunting dogs barking. Terrified, Ronno runs away screaming: "Mommy!"
Ronno's final appearance is when Thumper is telling everyone a story of how Bambi fought Man's hunting dogs, and Ronno tells Bambi that they'll meet again. Unfortunately, he steps on a turtle, and he falls into the water, and the turtle bites his nose. He runs away screaming: "Mommy!" and everyone laughs.
